Get To Know Us

ToYou, the one scrolling through,

Good. Stay skeptical. You've earned it. You've sat through the decks that went nowhere and paid for processes that produced a mood board & follow-up meeting... That's where we're different.

Our name comes from the old expression "Bob's Your Uncle."
It's what you say when something that sounded complicated turns out to be done, sorted, and handled end-to-end.

That's the promise. It's not a framework or process for the sake of it - It's creative that moves your business, delivered like there was never a doubt.

Challenger brands deserve an unfair advantage. And every hero worth rooting for has someone in their corner who's seen it all before:

That's Us.

Here's To Making Something Together,

- Bob Froese

Founder of Bob's Your Uncle

We turn ambitious brands into cultural Forces & category leaders.

We don't just build brands, we build dynasties. For over 20 years, we've helped hungry challengers take the throne. From launching Mike's Hard Lemonade and inventing a category, to turning Popeyes Canada from an underdog into a national king, to hijacking the Olympics and taking Canon past Nikon on the world stage.

If you're done competing for attention and ready to dominate your category, we're ready to crown you.

The Team.

We work with challenger brands in food, beverage, QSR, and CPG. That's the territory we know best, and where the Triangle is most tested.

Founder

Reign Maker-in-Chief

Bob Froese is the Founder of Bob’s Your Uncle — an independent creative agency built to help challenger brands become category kings.

For more than two decades, Bob has worked at the intersection of brand strategy and creativity, helping ambitious companies carve out positions powerful enough to reshape their categories.

His work spans some of the most successful challenger brand stories in North American marketing — from helping create the Mike’s Hard Lemonade category, to scaling Popeyes Canada from 20 restaurants to more than 400, to reframing plant-based eating with Gardein, and repositioning everyday foods through brands like The Honest Potato.

What connects these brands is not disruption for its own sake.

It’s strategic courage.

Bob believes real challenger brands succeed when three forces are held in tension:

Strategic sacrifice.

Radical focus.

Disciplined commitment.

Without all three, a brand isn’t a challenger.

It’s just smaller.

Through Bob’s Your Uncle, Bob partners with founders and marketing leaders to build brands capable of threatening category leaders — and disciplined enough to stay dangerous as they grow.

Because launching a challenger brand is easy.

Staying dangerous is the real work.

Cora Brady
Partner & CEO

Builder of High-Performing Humans & High-Performing Brands

Cora Brady became CEO of Bob’s Your Uncle in 2024, bringing clarity, momentum, and operational excellence to a fiercely creative, proudly independent, “weird-is-a-value” agency culture. She is the force behind the systems, teams, and conditions that allow great work — and the people who create it — to thrive.

With deep roots in CPG, digital, shopper marketing, and experiential, Cora has built and led high-performing teams across Toronto, Chicago, and NYC. She co-founded Mom Central — Canada’s first influencer marketing agency — alongside Kathryn Easter, well before influencer marketing became an industry standard.

At Bob’s Your Uncle, she leads agency operations, culture, and talent — ensuring the business scales without losing what makes it special. Known for her empathy, clarity, and ability to align people around what matters most, Cora builds teams clients want to stay with.

Short answer: no, she can’t be cloned. But she can build you a team that feels like it.

Daryl Klein
Creative Director

Architect of Bold Visual Worlds

For over 20 years, Daryl Klein has been one half of the agency’s legendary creative duo — the visual imagination to Brian Flay’s verbal firepower. Together, they’ve built some of the most disruptive work in food, beverage, and QSR.

Daryl is an award-winning art director and visual strategist behind iconic campaigns for Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Popeyes, Beef Farmers of Ontario, Olivieri, and the global-recognized “Been A Slice” beer. He conceived the original visual concept for the purpose-driven bread-to-beer initiative that went on to win Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Award.

He blends craft with challenger energy — finding the emotional and cultural thread that makes visuals unforgettable. Outside the agency, he designed his own modernist home, later featured in The Globe & Mail, proving his design obsession runs deeper than the job.

Daryl turns challenger brands into kings by giving them the visual authority to match their ambition.

Kira Campbell
Director Client Services

Leader of Client Love, Calm & Category Excellence

Kira leads Client Services with a simple mandate: make the work better, make the partnership stronger, and make the client’s life easier.

With over 15 years of CPG and retail experience, she brings depth across Sofina, Olivieri, Coca-Cola, Wonder Bread, Kruger, and other national brands. She’s also the integrated lead for multi-agency relationships — the person clients trust to keep everyone rowing in the same direction.

Kira ensures that every project lives up to our values of being courageous, proud, united, honest, and delightfully weird. Her superpower is orchestrating chaos into clarity, transforming goals into action, and making our work feel effortless from the client side.

If you ask our clients why they stay with us for a decade or more, her name comes up — a lot.

Brian Flay
Creative Director

Words, Wit & Strategic Mischief

Brian Flay has been writing the voice of Bob’s Your Uncle — and many of its most famous clients — for nearly two decades. He is a creative director, writer, strategic thinker, and all-around original whose ideas have helped build entire categories.

Brian helped grow Mike’s Hard Lemonade in Canada and co-led its explosive U.S. launch alongside Daryl and Bob. He has written some of the most memorable lines in the agency’s history, including purpose-beer gems like “Jesus Christ, they made bread from beer.” He has shaped campaigns for Popeyes, Beef Farmers of Ontario, Olivieri, Osmow’s, and dozens of F&B challengers across North America.

His mind operates at a frequency scientists have not yet classified — part Saturday-morning cartoon, part strategic assassin. He bikes 35 km to work (even in arctic conditions), eats the same lunch every day, and lives with five rescue animals who probably think he writes ads for them.

Brian is proof that great strategy and great creativity share the same spark: they make people care.

Head of AI & Performance

Engineering Unfair Advantage

Shannon Thorndyke builds the systems that make great ideas scale.

With more than two decades of experience across North America, she has helped brands like Dove, Nestlé, AMEX, Nike, RBC, TD, Microsoft and General Mills solve complex marketing problems with clarity and measurable impact.

At Bob’s Your Uncle, Shannon architected our AI and performance infrastructure from the ground up — transforming how we operate so our teams spend less time managing process and more time growing our clients’ businesses.

Because efficiency isn’t the point. Advantage is.

She brings next-level data analytics, automation and performance intelligence into every engagement — ensuring creativity is backed by precision and campaigns are built to win, not just launch.

Her expertise is trusted at the highest levels. Shannon was recently contracted by Pinterest to help build their online shopping portal — a testament to her ability to translate emerging technology into real commercial platforms.

A sought-after international speaker and educator, she makes complex technology accessible, practical and actionable.

When she’s not engineering growth systems, she’s raising horses in central Florida.

High performance looks different depending on the arena.

His work adds depth and polish to brand identities, packaging, social content, and integrated campaigns across food & beverage, CPG, QSR, and purpose-driven brands.

He thrives when the brief is ambitious, the timeline is tight, and the idea needs someone who can “make it real.” For Raffy, design isn’t decoration — it’s clarity, storytelling, and the difference between a brand that blends in and a brand that becomes king.

Senior Designer

Craft, Consistency & Creative Precision

Keith brings over 15 years of design mastery to Bob’s Your Uncle. A lifelong maker and visual problem-solver, he is known as the studio’s quiet powerhouse — the person who can conjure anything from nothing, long before AI ever entered the chat.

He has contributed to packaging, branding, production design, layout systems, and integrated campaigns across our food, beverage, QSR, and CPG clients. Keith represents the “blue-collar weird” ethos of the agency — hardworking, deeply creative, and committed to craft.

If it needs to be beautiful, precise, or built to last, it lands on his desk.

Tahnee Lloyd-Smith
Cultural Strategist

Human Behaviour, Unfiltered

Tahnee brings cultural depth and human truth to the agency’s strategic process. A performing arts graduate, event producer, fashion entrepreneur, and host of the podcast “Gracefully Offensive,” she offers a rare ability to see how people actually behave — not how brands wish they behaved.

She is the Founder & Creative Director of Pretty Denim, a Toronto luxury denim label, and Partner & Creative Director at Good Goddess, a women’s wellness brand. Her work sits at the intersection of culture, design, behaviour, and brand narrative — exactly where modern food & beverage brands need to win.

At Bob’s Your Uncle, Tahnee injects real humanity into the “Who Cares?” filter — bringing the kind of brutally honest insights that make brands relevant, resonant, and culturally fluent.

Bob's Your Uncle employee: Judy van Mourik's image
Judy van Mourik
Agency Manager

The Agency Backbone, Fixer & Unofficial Office Sheriff

Judy van Mourik is the operational heartbeat of Bob’s Your Uncle — the person who keeps the agency running, the people productive, and the chaos firmly in check. For years, Judy led production and studio management with unmatched discipline, precision, and an uncanny ability to know exactly what needed to happen before anyone else even realized it.

Today, she oversees everything that makes the agency work: technology, systems, tools, physical resources, vendors, suppliers, subscriptions, logistics, and the thousand invisible details that keep a creative company humming. If it touches operations, infrastructure, or workflow, Judy has already managed it, optimized it, labeled it, filed it, and put three backups in place.

She is the agency mom — supportive, dependable, and fiercely protective — but she’s also the person you absolutely do not want to mess with. Judy’s standards are sky-high, her boundaries are legendary, and her ability to fix problems before they exist borders on supernatural.

Outside the office, she’s an exceptional gardener, nurturing life with the same commitment and care she brings to the agency — though the plants probably get slightly gentler treatment than the software vendors.

Simply put: Judy is the reason everyone else can do their jobs. She keeps the kingdom running.
